If you have made up your mind to start your own business, you will need to figure out which type of business entity you want to set up. One of the most popular business entities is the LLC, which has many advantages and benefits. Set up an LLC can protect your personal assets, reduce your taxes and save your time and efforts in filing excessive paperwork. Formation of LLCs are preferred because they combine the limited liability protection of a corporation and the pass through taxation of a partnership.

Do you want to know the cost or the advantages or disadvantages of LLC? Cost depends on the state and the advantages or disadvantages depends on your goals you want to achieve by forming an LLC (Limited Liability Company). LLC is a pass through entity. Limited Liability Company is very flexible to manage multiple businesses. No payroll is required for the members. Less paper work involved. Corporation can be a member of an LLC. There are two types of LL C's single member or multi-member LL C's.

You are not required to structure your business only by forming an LLC. But Limited Liability company is considered a flexible entity and multiple businesses can be managed under one LLC. But we strongly suggest you to please consult either your attorney or accountant before reach any conclusion to structure your business.
