What is the process to convert a Single Member LLC to a Multimember LLC?

A final return is filed if the a member of an LLC has either resigned or died to convert a multiple member limited liability company to a single member. A multi-member LLC files a form 1065 whereas a single member LLC files a form 1040.

What happens if a member of an LLC resigns during the year?

A partial year final return is filed if a member of a limited liability company resigns during the year.

How to notify the IRS about the conversion of an Entity?

An explanation letter is sent along with the final partnership return 1065.

Dear Sir/ Madam, I am a citizen and resident of India. I hold a passport but not any visa in US. Can I start a company in US being a non resident and non citizen of US.
