What is the process to file a merger in Hawaii?

• Fill an article of merger with state of Hawaii department of commerce and consumer affairs business registration division
• Non refundable state filing fee is $100.00 for profit corporations and $50.00 for nonprofit corporations.
• Provide names and state of formation of the business entities proposing to merge including the surviving entity.
• Submit a merger plan
• Effective date of filing article of merger. If the merger effective date is a future effective date and the merger is terminated before the effective date, the article of the merger will be terminated.
• Names and addresses of all parties involved the merger
