Requirement to File LLC in Wisconsin:

  

  • All Wisconsin LLCs are required to register with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions to conduct business.
  • The Articles of Organization must be filed with the state to register LLC.
  • The proposed name must be submitted and you also have an option to reserve the name before filing an original Articles of Organization for LLC registration in Wisconsin.

  • Principal Office-REQUIRED: Include street number, street, city, state and zip code. (PO Box is not acceptable).
  • Wisconsin  LLC can be incorporated with one member only.
  • The Wisconsin Articles of amendment must be filed if there is any change in the business name or members of the LLC.
  • Annual report must be filed to keep the WI LLC in good standing.

Member Managed LLC:
